Award-Winning Brown Sugar Chipotle Baby Back Ribs

Hello, members of the Ribertarian party.

Today I'd like to share one of our most famous recipes. This recipe has won us countless awards at BBQ competitions and is sure to impress all of your friends and family.

To start off, you'll need:

  • a bottle of our Ribertarian United Steaks of America rub
  • your smoker
  • 1lb. of dark brown sugar
  • 1 rack of ribs

Now grab a beer and let's get started.

First, set your smoker to 250 and finish your beer while it's warming up.

While waiting for your smoker to get to temp, go ahead and mix 3/4 cup of the USA rub with your 1lb. of dark brown sugar and slather it on your rack of ribs. Remember to dry the ribs with a paper towel first.

Once your smoker has preheated, go ahead and throw your ribs on.

Now get ready for the hardest part - the waiting. We don't do any of the 3-2-1 ribs here. We want crispy, moist ribs with a beautiful bark. For this recipe, we recommend you spritz the ribs every hour or so with a 1:1 mixture of apple cider vinegar and a light beer (hello Busch light!).

Leave your ribs on for about 5-6 hours, or until they're between 190-200. Realistically, you'll know when they're ready to be pulled based on whether you like them with some bite or fall off the bone.

And that's all there is to it!

Happy smoking!
